 Woodlake's professional staff can handle all your golfing needs, corporate or private golf tournaments, weddings and banquet needs.
The club has two convenient practice putting greens, separate driving range, fully stocked golf-shop, club fitting, golf club repair, and full service Bar & Grill complete the extraordinary service.
Woodlake Golf Club was built in 1972 and designed by Desmond Muirhead. Golfers will depend on their accuracy in order to challenge the narrow fairways, multiple water hazards and well-protected greens.
The course has multiple water hazards, hilly terrain, and some of San Antonio's most beautiful views all which make Woodlake a challenge for the seasoned golfer and a beauty to behold for the novice. Woodlake has been awarded Golf Digest's "Places to Play" every year since 2004.
Woodlake Golf Club has hosted 5 PGA Tour events (Texas Open) from 1972 thru 1976. It was in 1973 when Ben Crenshaw won the Texas Open on his first attempt as a Professional Golfer. Woodlake has also hosted other prestigious qualifying events such as The USGA's U.S. Public Links in 2003-2006, the U.S. Amateur qualifying in 2004 and the U.S. Mid Amateur in 2005.
